What makes Genesis Threads’ stoles unique?
Our stoles are sewn on 100% cotton fabric – washable and easy to care for. Every stole is made to order, so you choose the images, the fonts and the colours for your unique stole. Plus, every embroidered stole comes in a complimentary cotton storage bag, to store and protect your stole.
Can I have more than one Sacrament on my stole?
Yes, our stoles are specifically designed to have all sacraments recorded on the same stole. In this way, your child will have a memento of their sacramental journey. Use our contact form to get pricing details for this option.
I have a Baptism stole for my child but now would like to add Eucharist or Confirmation to it. Can you do this for me?
Yes. We can add other sacraments to an existing stole. If you already have a Genesis Threads stole, simply contact us to make arrangements. You cover the postage costs, and we will add the embroidery to match your existing stole.
How long does it take?
You should allow 2 weeks for your stole to reach you, from date of ordering to date of delivery. Local pick up is ready within two weeks but please allow 7 days from ordering to completion.
Can I receive my stole in less than 7 days?
If you need a stole urgently, you should contact us to check that your order can be prioritised to get to you in time. Wherever possible, we will accommodate rush orders, ensuring that you are prepared for your Sacramental celebration.
Can I get a stole for RCIA?
Yes, we make stoles for RCIA. They are longer than the standard length, and includes images for Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation, along with the candidates name and date of initiation.
What if I don’t want a name or date on my stole?
You can choose to have a stole made with just an image for the sacrament. It is up to you how you would like your stole to look! We do our best to accommodate all your ideas to provide you with a garment you are satisfied with.
My stole doesn’t have a fringe on it but now I want one. Can you add a fringe?
Yes, we can add or even replace a fringe for you. We recommend adding a fringe at the same time as having embroidery added.
What if I want to decorate the stole myself?
We also provide blank stoles, with or without a fringe. These blank stoles are the perfect blank canvas for creating your own sacramental memento for families or schools.
How can I decorate a blank stole?
Genesis Threads offers sacramental iron-on motifs. These original motifs are made from 100% cotton, and are individually hand-cut. Each badge reflects the liturgical colours and symbols of each sacrament. This no-sew option is a fabulous way for everyone to be able to simply create a stole that is beautiful and original.
I live in a rural location and need a stole. Can you help me?
Yes, Genesis Threads delivers anywhere in Australia using Auspost Registered Parcel Post and Express Post. You should allow 2 weeks to receive your stole, from date of ordering. If you would like sacraments added to an existing stole, you can post this to us (in Central Victoria) so that we receive it 2 weeks before the date you need it returned. If you’re still unsure, just contact us and we will do our best to help you out.
Remember we also have iron-on sacramental badge motifs that you can choose, if you are in need of something sooner, and yes, we can supply you with a blank stole for this purpose, too.
